Jones Family Web Site

Brief History:

The Yeo and Jones Families are linked through the marriage of Bess Yeo to Pha Jones in 1910.  How Pha and Bess met is unclear, but Pha's sister Raye and Bess were best friends and they may have met while the GWI Jones family was in Portland before their move to Seattle.  William Yeo, Bess's father, emigrated to Canada in 1883 and later to the United States with his future father-in-law George Baker.  They will run an auction business in Portland Oregon for many years.

The Yeo-Ho House in Seaview Washington will become a family gathering place for the Yeo Family and all their related families. Over time other families will establish residences in Long Beach and Seaview continuing the family traditions started in the 1920s.
