Brief History:
The Randell and Jones Families are linked through the marriage of George H. Randell to Emma Jane Jones in August of 1880. Emma is the daughter of Dr. Elias Jones and sister of George Washington Irving (GWI) Jones. George Randell is a doctor and graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He will move his family to Leavenworth County Kansas, then Chicago, and eventually to Seattle Washington. The family will build the family home at 2414 Jackson Street and will short plat a large section of the Madrona Neighborhood on Captial Hill in Seattle. They will have four children, George C., Ralph, Frank M., and Laura. George Sr. and Emma will retire to Orange County California in 1920.
