Brief History:
The Aurelius and Jones Families are linked through the marriage of Harry Aurelius to Hazel Jones abt 1900. Hazel is the daughter of GWI Jones and Harry and Hazel meet while the Jones family is living in Chicago in the 1890's. Harry and Hazel will live in Chicago Illinois and Anderson Indiana after getting married and will have two children, Marcia (1902) and Hazel Jr. (1904). Harry dies around 1918 and Hazel will move with the children to Seattle Washington residing with her mother La Dora (Wiley) Jones in the family home at 712 31st Ave S. Hazel will later remarry Harry Potts, a gentleman she had known for many years.
Another line of this family that has come to my attention is the Southan family, Harry’s mother’s family line. The Southan family is from Wolverhampton England and has descendants in the UK, Australia and The United States
